The client ran a biscuit and cake operation and wanted advice on how to improve costs, test capital requirements and upgrade business operations.
Our team of operational and technical experts visited the site and audited activity. We reviewed operational performance, capacity and factory planning. We assessed recipe formulation based on industry practise.
We diagnosed a number of causes of in-optimal performance and recommended routes to lower cost whilst reducing capital expenditure. We identified opportunities to remove expensive additives from the ingredient list and reduce cost and improve performance.
