In 2016, Food Strategy Associates worked with branded food manufacturer considering the acquisition of a Continental Foods, a market leading branded ambient food manufacturer to assess the attractiveness of the target for acquisition.
We developed a view on market and share trends across 5 European countries and supplemented market data with in-store reviews of product, range and merchandising of the business. We accessed our industry network to develop a comprehensive picture of the business performance over the previous 5 years. This enabled us to identify and then evaluate the business’ strategy and to identify synergies and opportunities for our client.
